Brooke Roberts

One of the NewGen designers who will show at London Fashion Week caught my eye the other day. Brooke Roberts has a very interesting approach to her designs, particularly in this collection which is inspired by designs seen in various sciences. She investigated geometry and x-ray calibration films amongst other things. Be sure to have a look at her website to check out the complete collection and other works.

Young&Restless AW 2011

I wanted to use this post to introduce a brand based in Singapore of whom I had never heard of until a few days ago. Young&Restless is a brand whose intricate minimalism I find quite impressive which is why I wanted to share their Fall/Winter 2011 collection entitled ‘Girl Power’ with you. Their patterns and fabrics drape beautifully in the images and their is an evident quality in the detailing that ices the cake.
Following is a selection of what they will offer for the upcoming season and a glimpse at their campaign.
